PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:
NOTE: This staple gun uses 7/16” size, which is not the same as our usual “Standard” Size of US Staples of ¼”. You can get more staples directly from JOVANT and i would recommend you do so, so you don’t get the wrong size as you may not get the direct size you need from your local hardware store. That way you can avoid jams.
This staple gun came with a charge already so I ran it through some paces. Its a pretty good unit for its size. I felt like it had a nice amount of power to it. I tested stapling on a couple of different types of wood, and fibreboard. Didn’t have too many issues, but I did try on some harder wood and the nails had some problems going in all the way. I would say this is ok for light to moderate projects, but nothing heavy-duty.
There’s a safety mechanism as you would expect on the front of the staple gun that needs to be pressed down in order to engage the trigger for the staple/brad nailer.
I like this overall. It’s not very noisy, pretty compact, and easy to charge up. I like that they give you a good amount of staples to start off with and they should last me a good while. The unit feels like it’s sturdy enough."
