I am a Master Gardener and have used many tools. There are a few that I would rate extremely useful and this is one of them. The battery life last a very long time. I often start working in my yard at 8 a.m. and work mostly all day till 8 p.m. and this battery outlast me and goes on for days. This Jovanti pruner cuts a little larger limbs than the more common size, which is helpful. It is easy to use if you follow instructions. I garden on 1 acre of my land and have lots of trash trees since I have woods behind me. I have used this pruner so much and it is a whole lot easier and faster than the manual loppers. I cannot say enough about this great tool.

JOVANT Electric Pruning Shears Is A Neat Product Fits The Hand Nicely. It works well, moves very quickly and recovers just as fast. Pros: Has a nice on/off switch on the bottom rear of the pruner so it doesn't get hit by limbs. Light weight, battery fits well. Comes with two allen wrenches and a socket with built in handle. Cons: Charger plugs into the battery with a small electrical plug. Destined to be a problem. Nothing tells you where you can buy a replacement battery or charger. I could recommend this little pruner.

We just got this literally a couple of days ago and have already used it for several hours. This makes the task of trimming brush and twigs as well as some decent sized tree branches so much easier than using our old manual tools. I charged it fully when it first arrived (haven't confirmed yet but it's advertised as offering Makita 18v battery compatibility which is a win). Over the course of doing our fall cleanup for the last two days the battery is still on its original charge. Also, love that it comes with the tools to maintain and even replace the blades when needed. I've managed to try it on a couple of branches that probably exceed the recommended dimension for this tool but, when it can't get through, it simply opens up, I pull it loose, go at the branch again and so far it makes it through every time. Both my wife and I have found it to be easy to use as it is light and certainly requires less hand strength than the tools we had used previously. The bottom line is, it's a game changer for us.

This is a great all in one electric pruning shears set, and comes with a great carying case. To start it, you turn the power on and pull the trigger twice, then the blades open up. Then you squeeze the trigger, and the blades come together and cut the branch. It works really well for basic pruning and twigs. Comes with two battery packs, an extra blade, and some other tools. When charging the batteries, the plug is located in the middle of the battery pack, as pictured. You plug one end into the battery, the the other end into a power outlet to charge. Overall, this worked really well and was really quick. It also has a read out that tells you how much battery life you have, which is a nice touch. The only thing I didn’t like about it is when you squeeze the trigger it’s all or nothing. There’s no control over the speed in which it cuts, and sometimes when I was reaching I wanted to slowly cut through it, but it didn’t give me the option. When you squeeze the trigger, the blades are coming together. But aside from that one relatively minor issue it is a great kit, and a great tool for around the yard and in the garden. Happy with this purchase.

Listen, of you're thinking of getting this, go right ahead. Absolutely great especially for people who don't wanna hire folks to do the job for them. Very sturdy and easy to use and it doesn't weigh a lot. A tiny girl like me can absolutely manage all day. All you have to do is press down on the lever thing until the branch gets cut and that's it. You don't have to strain yourself to press it or anything, just press, it'll cut it and release and that's it. I am 110lbs and I wanted something that does most of the work for me and oh my goodness am I happy I got this. Whether you are small like me, a father, a mother, a grandma/pa, a single guy or a family of 5....guess what, you can absolutely get this. Don't waste time manually trying to cut those branches, just get this instead, it's value for your money. It's very sharp and doesn't take anything to cut those branches. Safety - when cutting those branches you can either hold on to the end part of the branch and cut close to the trunk area....just CUT AWAY FROM YOUR FINGERS and you'll be fine....or you can not hold it at all and just cut the branches in sections. It comes with a battery, which I haven't charged since taking it out the box. When not in use, it turns off on its own and all you have to do to turn it on again is press the lever 2-3 time and it'll boot right back up. It also comes with a charger and a set of spare blades along with a liquid solution, to oil it to something like that....idk. Get it asap
